Warhammer 40,000 (informally known as
Warhammer
40K or just
40K) is a tabletop strategy
game played with a complex set of rules and strategies. The
game depicts combat between the armies of the fictional universe of
the 41st millennium using 28 mm scale (approximately 1:65 scale)
miniature figurines that represent futuristic soldiers, creatures
and vehicles of war and are produced by Games Workshop and Forge
World.
The models are sold un painted and unassembled, which is
the part that appeals to me, as I love to build things. There are
many opportunities to convert (customize) the models making
something unique and interesting that can then be used within the
game. Incidentally, I am a much better painter/modeler than a
